Highway Bill: Road to Somewhere!

Cha-ching! Thank you, thank you. Sometimes I just feel like committing headline writing suicide. Sometimes I can’t stand trying to be witty.
A two-year, $109 billion measure providing federal funding for the nation’s roads, rails bridges and airports for the next two years passed the Senate on a 74 to 22 vote Wednesday with broad bipartisan support.
Anyways. It seems promising that the Senate passed the highway bill by such astounding numbers, given the recent divisiveness in the ranks. To boot, there’s not a lot of media on the Republicans in the House shitting on the idea. It just seems like they’re sort of blustered, but aren’t really seriously going to oppose it.
And does the phrase “broad bipartisan support” for something like this just start the chorus rumbling in your chest…
