Ha-ha. Yes. They are humorous creatures. You’ll almost certainly never see a wild one in your lifetime. Let’s consider biodiversity – yes, a goofy uber-Environmentalist ploy. What it really means, though, is that once this animal is gone, there will never be another like it in any remotely accessible span of time. Never. Gone.
Do we really want to lose this? Duck bill, check. Poisonous barb on foot, check. Mammal, check. Egg layer, check. Beaver tail, check – and hilarious. Nevertheless:
