More Than Just Monogamy

A huge read by Dan Savage on why monogamy doesn’t work for 100% of people 100% of the time. Then, a suggestion about how to bolster a quasi-monogamous relationship with honestly about fooling around and having wider interests than just one person can satisfy.
It’s decidedly thought-provoking, to have to reckon with the discomfort of critiquing moral norms. Yet, the alternative remains living in willful ignorance about the near-certainty that your partner cheats and lies about it to protect your mutual monogamy. If that’s confusing, good.
