You’re Welcome Middle-East

Is what I assume George W. Bush is thinking right now.  Isn’t he? Right.

Let’s count it off.  Tunisia’s government fell a couple weeks ago, and there’s an outstanding international arrest warrant for the deposed leader.  Egypt’s dictator is hiding in a beach villa with about $60 billion while the military runs the government – this is more or less what the protesters wanted.

Now, Iran is in upheaval, and the government ain’t even playing.  Early protests were met with fiercely violent reprisals, much the same way the Green Revolution was silenced last year.

And Bahrain has protesters calling for more freedom, more than 10,000 have flooded the capital’s Pearl Square in a small country.

So why does George Bush think he’s responsible?

I don’t know, but let’s cross our fingers and hope that Iraqis and Afghans rise up and throw off the shackles of their colonial oppressors, whoever they currently might be.
