Nuts Fight Bad Cholesterol; study finds

The study found that any kind of nut produces the same result, a drop of about 7.4 percent in bad cholesterol.

“Nuts are rich in unsaturated fats, and that is a main driver in lowering cholesterol,” said the lead author, Dr. Joan Sabaté, a professor of nutrition at the School of Public Health at Loma Linda University in California. “They are the richest source of protein in the plant kingdom, and they also contain fiber and phytosterols, which compete with cholesterol to be absorbed. All these nutrients have been demonstrated to lower cholesterol.”

To which I will refer to a chart I posted earlier that indicates that the government is trying to kill its population, at least, that’s what subsidies indicate.  If you take the premise that what the government subsidizes is what the government favors, then the government favors the food that kills us over the food that doesn’t.

Case and Point.
